I was 59 years old when I was first diagnosed with wet AMD in both eyes. No family history, not a smoker, not obese. I began receiving monthly shots for approximately 4 yrs then stretched to 5 wks, eventually 6 weeks and in last few months every 8 wks.
I have now been diagnosed with reticular pseudodrusen and changed back to injections every 5 weeks and am also recently diagnosed with geographical atrophy. I am doubting the usefulness of continuing the Eyelea shots since I have obviously had little success with them.I am beginning to feel a little weary of the whole ordeal.
