Her husband Dan Roberts the director of www.MDSupport.org and author of The First Year: Age-Related Macular Degeneration: An Essential Guide for the Newly Diagnosed was first diagnosed almost 20 years ago in 1994.

I had the privilege of meeting Dan and Chris this summer at the Visions Conference in Minneapolis. A constant companion and support, Chris shares with us her feelings of what this journey has been like for her and provides tips for helping others who share the same role as a caregiver:
