Vitreous Humor Detachment

by Rebecca

Hello,

Can vitreous humor detachment or retinal detachment be cured by microcurrent stimulation?

REPLY

Microcurrent will not cure a vitreous detachment or a retinal detachment. In most cases a retinal detachment needs to treated surgically. In my experience microcurrent can help the eye to heal after retinal detachment surgery, since in most cases after detachment surgery there is a decline in vision because of dysfunctional retinal cells.

Microcurrent can improve circulation, reduce inflammation and stimulate cellular activity.
Microcurrent can also be helpful in the treatment of the symptoms of a vitreous detachment, such as floaters, spots wavy lines etc.

To your good health and clear vision,

Dr. Kondrot
