I am very sorry about your mother's loss of vision. My father also lost his vision after Lucentis injection and its permanent.
Please contact me. He was in end stage and already lost his central vision but got two shots anyway.

I am very sorry your mother lost her vision after injection of Lucentis.
I don't see how to get in touch with you directly, but my father had same thing happen after Lucentis injection. He had no central vision left but injection took out essentially all of his peripheral vision.

Vision Loss - Don't Miss Your Appointments by: patrick
I was treated for macular degeneration for the past 2 years with injections of Lucentis every 6 weeks.
A couple of times, didn't need an injection as the macular degeneration had not got any worse.
The last injection was the end of Oct. Next was xmas eve but i was away so canceled it.
Next appointment was jan 14th. still away. Jan 29th I woke up with pain behind the eye. In the next 4 hours, a red curtain descended across my vision and left me no sight at all.
Next day at the emergency eye clinic, they said I had a macular heaomorage and it was nothing to do with my previous treatment. But if lucentis dries up rogue blood vessels, what happens if you don't get the injections. SO be warned. Don't miss your appointments, just in case!
