Living with macular degeneration means learning to adapt to new ways of doing things.

Macular Degeneration Resources

Living and learning are the two keywords.

The resources to help you live with this central vision loss are available. You just need to provide the attitude of a willingness to try something new and to adapt to your new circumstances.

One of the best people to learn from, is from someone who walks in your shoes. Peggy Wolfe, the author of Macular Disease: Practical Strategies for Living with Vision Loss, has lived with macular degeneration for over 8 years.

She shares with readers some of her struggles and triumphs for living with hope and determination.

There are also many chapters on techniques that she uses to help her with reading, cooking, eating, taking care of her finances and organizing her home.

To get some of Peggy's practical tips for use in the kitchen, the bathroom and your closet click here: Peggy's Tips for Living with Macular Degeneration

She has shared in her knowledge in book form, but perhaps you have tip that you'd be willing to share that has helped you in some way with your loss of central vision.

Please help others by sharing it here:
