Floor Lamp Magnifier for Reading

I love to read long novels, so the best place for me to read is in my favorite chair. I buy large print books and then use a floor lamp with a magnifier. Right now a magnifying power of 2x is working for me.

I have an aunt with MD and wonder what is the best floor reading lamp for her? She loves to read and would like to get her something for christmas.

We purchased this magnifying floor lamp for my father-in-law who has wet macular degeneration. We are giving it to him for Christmas too :) - so I will let the readers know what he thinks of it.

The full page magnifier is high quality and combined with bright LED lights, it should help him with his reading. Now, whenever a magnifier is this large - like a full page magnifier - the lower the magnifying power. This one magnifies 2.5X. So not everyone can benefit from this power.

The lamp is very sturdy with a nice heavy base, good LED lighting, and an adjustable arm for better positioning.
