Macular Degeneration Studies

Macular Degeneration Studies are available for those with wet or dry macular degeneration and even for those who don't have it.


There is macular degeneration research for those who are interested in preventing this retinal disease as well as studies for macular edema and macular dystrophy. Discovering a macular degeneration treatment breakthrough will come about as more is learned through research about the cause of AMD and why it progresses.

AMD Clinical Trials

Macular degeneration clinical trials can be easily accessed by going to the National Institute of Health website. It is really quite easy to find out if there is a macular degeneration study for your type of AMD in your area.

The www.ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry of federally and privately supported studies conducted in the United States and around the world. This registry will provide information about:

2. Who is eligible to participate

3. The study locations and

4. Contact Information

This information should be used in conjunction with advice from your health care professionals.
