Wet and Dry Macular Degeneration - Texas

by Gabrielle
(Houston, TX, USA)

I am writing this for my grandmother, Hildegard. She is 83 years old and in fantastic health.

A few years ago she was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration and is treating it with injections.

However a month ago she was told dry is in the early stages in her other eye.

She lives in Galveston, TX, USA.

Thank you,
Gabrielle

Dry Macular Degeneration - Texas

by Sheila
(Southlake, TX)

I was diagnosed with adult onset Vitilliform dystrophy. I am told that my AMD is in the dry stage but my vision is declining.

I am looking forward to a future of being actively retired but am afraid of what my vision may become.

I am extremely interested in participating in any program that would decrease my chances of vision loss.
