Hi Nancy,

Thanks for your question. There are two studies for advanced macular degeneration. One of the studies is just for those who are 50 -60 years old. The second is also for those with advanced AMD who have geographic atrophy.

Intravitreal injections are given monthly or every other month. This study is located in Augusta, Georgia.
