Are there any stores in the San Francisco or even Sacramento area where these products can be seen and evaluated "hands-on"?

Hi Linda,

Finding a low vision store where you can get expert advice on what is best for you and how to use the many visual aids for macular degeneration is the best way to learn. There is a Lighthouse Store in your area. Here is what I found for San Fransisco.

Hi! I love the idea of finding the low vision store. Do you know how I can find it in Edmonton area (AB, Canada)?

Yes. Contact the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. They offer different services in different communities.

They do have an office in Edmonton.
