Free Large Print Books

Free large print books are available at most local libraries or you can turn every book into large print with an electronic book reader.

Large Print Books - Local Library

Free large print books are no longer available from the National Association for the Vision Impaired (NAVH), in New York.

According to their website the program has been permanently discontinued.

However, check with your local library. Our library has a large section of large print books all in one section.

Electronic Book Readers

Electronic book readers like the Kindle DX, Barnes and Noble Nook, and Sony e-book reader can turn every book and newspaper into a large print book.

Just by pressing a button you can enlarge the font and enhance the contrast for easier reading.

There is no need for a computer. Books download directly to the wireless device using a cell phone signal. There is no monthly charge for the connection. Most books cost $9.99 or less and many books can be downloaded for free.
