You will need different magnifiers for different tasks. Just like I keep inexpensive reading glasses in every room in the house, you may want to keep inexpensive magnifiers all over the house as well. They come in handy for reading labels, instructions, prescription bottles, or recipes.

Determine what magnification power you need before making your purchase and how you will use it. Some of them are small enough to carry in your purse or pocket so you can take them with you shopping or out to eat.
