Electric golf carts are a wonderful alternative to driving a car. How do I know?
Even though I don't have macular degeneration or any loss of vision, I live in a planned golf cart community with over 90 miles of golf cart paths.
Just about everyone owns their own golf cart and uses it to get around town.
Golf Cart Community
Getting around town in a golf cart is easy thanks to bridges and tunnels that take us over or under busy roads.
The 80 miles of paths take me to
grocery stores,
doctors,
the library,
hair dresser,
drug stores,
restaurants and
to friends' houses.
Peachtree City, Georgia
Beautiful tree lined paths provide shade in the summer while tunnels and bridges take us under and over busy roads.
We use our golf cart all the time to get around town, whether it's to go to the grocery store or to pick up our grandkids.
In our community you can drive a golf cart without a driver's license.
Oh, yes, and for those who like to golf there is lots of inexpensive golfing as well. My husband uses our golf cart to golf and it takes him...maybe 5 minutes to get to the club house.
Special parking for golf carts makes it easy and convenient to run into a store for a quick errand.
Most of us have golf cart enclosures to keep us dry on rainy days and warm on colder days.
If you want to know more about living and driving in the golf cart community of Peachtree City I can put you into contact with my neighbor and real estate agent, Jan.
