Director of the Center for Visually Impaired Adults in Placer Co., CA

I have been the director, as a volunteer, for the Center for Visually Impaired Adults for the past two years. The majority of the seniors that we serve have macular degeneration.

I have recently been receiving and retrieving all of your invaluable information for my participants. I have a retired nurse on my volunteer staff who is planning a nutrition class based on much of the information that we have received from your website.

I have a "Pebble" demonstration" for my group based upon your information as to the potential benefit of this technology for macular patients.

As the Baby Boomers begin experiencing their own onset of macular degeneration, I KNOW how invaluable your website will continue to be for a soon- to- be ever growing visually impaired population. I am very grateful for your contribution to my group and for those in the future. I am a retired, credentialed Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Orientation and Mobility Specialist with a M.A. in Education with 37 years of experience in the field.
