Benefits of a Proper Diet

I read a short time ago on Dr Mercola's website that grains can make you go blind.

A short time before that I was told that I had the beginnings of Macular Degeneration.
I quit eating grains and stayed on my Vegan Diet.

At my recent eye exam I was told that there was no sign of the macular degeneration.

Other readers have shared that they have also eliminated all grains from their diet. If you could provide us with a link that gives good solid info on this topic please share it.
An anti-inflammatory diet helps to reduce chronic inflammation which is one of the causes of macular degeneration. Perhaps grains - even whole grains - are inflammatory?

As a vegetarian you are no doubt including lots of lutein rich and anti-inflammatory vegetables like spinach and kale? What are your favorite vegetables? Do you eat them raw or cooked?

Benefit of Leaving Grains

1. Nice to know that You benefited by leaving the grains though grains of some type are being taken by every one. Which grains are most harmful according to your information?

2. Besides leaving the grains, did you use some medication also?
