Nook Color Ebook Reader

The full 7" color screen makes this e book reader stand out from the others. This would be the best e book reader if you want to enjoy reading magazines or other books where pictures are important. For instance cook books or children's books that come alive with pictures can be enjoyed on the Nook. The pictures and colors are so vivid and clear. They can be zoomed to enlarge the pictures for better visibility. Many people find that the touch screen is easier to see and to navigate. The high resolution backlit display uses more than 16 million colors to illuminate colorful images and crisp text for easy reading day or night. Crossword puzzles, Sudoku, Chess and Pandora® internet radio are also available
E Book Reader Class
One of the benefits of buying an e book reader, like the Barnes and Noble Nook, from a store is that you can actually look at it and try it before making a purchase. In addition, Barnes and Noble stores offer classes on how to use the Nook and demonstrate the different features that are available and how to navigate it. My father in-law who has wet macular degeneration began using his Nook more frequently after he attended just such a session. There were only three people in his class. He was able to ask questions and get personalized help.
E Books for Free from Your Library
Another benefit of the Barnes and Noble Nook is that you can get library books downloaded right to the wireless reading device. First you need to download Adobe Digital Edition and have a local library card. You can get it at your library's website. Once you have ADE you'll be ready to convert an ebook file from your library to the format that can be read by both your PC and your Nook.
