Hello

Affordable Technology for Reading - Enhances Contrast and Provides Lighting

"This new technology overcomes the main factors that prevent individuals with low vision from reading – poor contrast and lighting and unrecognizable letters – by providing concentrated lighting, magnification and prism correction," LVR Technology LLC said in a press release issued at Southern Educational Congress of Optometry.

Low Vision Readers

Jeffrey Sonsino, OD, FAAO, Low Vision Reader's chief medical officer and the inventor of these magnifying reading glasses, describes the glasses as "lighted prismatic readers."

He states that many low vision glasses that are available today offer the prism's without the light or lighted glasses without the prisms.

Sonsino has worked with hundreds of patients with low vision many of whom have macular degeneration. For most of his patients, the ability or the lack of ability to read was one of the most frustrating aspects of living with their vision loss. Determined to help make a difference in the lives of his patients, Sonsino developed Low Vision Readers.

Find out who is a candidate for these magnifying reading glasses and how truly affordable they really are:
