Hello

How to Find Macular Degeneration Clinical Trials

Would you like to know how you can find macular degeneration clinical trials in your own country, state or city? It really is quite easy.

Macular Degeneration Research

The website www.ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry of federally and privately supported studies conducted in the United States and around the world.

ClinicalTrials.gov gives you information about a trial's:

purpose,

who may participate,

locations, and

contact numbers for more details.

This information should be used in conjunction with advice from health care professionals. Here are the steps to take:

1) Go to www.ClinicalTrials.gov

2) Click on Search for Clinical Trials

3) Type in "macular degeneration" in the search field and a list of all the studies in 157 countries will come up.

4) At the top hit "Hide Studies that are not seeking new volunteers."

Currently there are 196 studies seeking new volunteers.

Perform a Search for a City or State

You can limit the list geographically by adding your city or state. For example, in the search field you would type in:

"macular degeneration Chicago" or

"macular degeneration Illinois."

Then hit "Hide studies that are not seeking new volunteers."

Search by Type of Treatment
