Hello

Free Large Print Books

Have you been frustrated trying to read normal print books? Maybe the small font size or the lack of contrast in a book makes what once was a pleasurable activity, now one of frustration.

Would you like to know how you can get free large print books that meet special low vision standards?

Free large print books are available from the National Association for the Vision Impaired (NAVH), in New York. They offer a free large print loan library. Anyone who needs or prefers large print can use their loan library.

1) Ask for a catalog from NAVH. When possible, a $15 donation to cover the cost of printing the catalog, is requested.

2) Select 20 - 30 books and

3) Send a list of titles and authors to NAVH

include the address & phone number where you wish books to be sent (no P.O. Boxes)

4) Books will be sent to you by mail, two at a time.

You may keep the books for two months. When you are ready to return them, place them in the mailer provided and return them to NAVH, postage free. As soon as the books are received, two more will be sent.

Books are selected from their catalog and are sent to you two at a time, with a postage paid return mailer.

This is a free service provided by NAVH to those who need or prefer large print.
